Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do I need to know anything about wine to enjoy the Tour? From novice to connoisseur everyone loves our Tour! Just come and enjoy wine tasting, a delicious meal with wine, and a beautiful scenic adventure that’s sure to put a smile on your face. We’ve taken care of everything so you can enjoy.
   

2. What’s the fastest way to book a Tour? Just call 310.393.6555 from Monday to Saturday, 9am-6pm. Reserving online is great for after-hours, but please note that final confirmation of online reservation requests may take up to 24 hours.

3. How far in advance must I reserve seats? You can call last-minute and we’ll do our best to fit you in, but due to the Tour’s popularity we suggest that you book at least 3 days in advance (10 days for Private Reserved Group Tours).
   

4. Can I book a Tour after your business hours? We constantly check phone messages (even after our regular business hours), so your after-hours calls or online reservations usually are confirmed within 12 hours. Just call 310-393-6555 or email info@MalibuDiscovery.com and we’ll respond quickly.
   

5. If I book a Tour online, is it immediately confirmed? Booking online is great for 24/7 reservation requests, but final confirmation of online reservation requests may take up to 24 hours.
   

6. What information will I need to book a Tour? We’ll need to know the desired date of your Tour, how many people in your party, and where you are staying to establish your pick up location and time. Please also have your contact and credit card information, including the billing address and telephone number.
   

7. Can I reserve a Tour without paying for it? All reservations require advance payment in order to guarantee your seats in our luxury vehicles.
   

8. How many people do I need for a Private Reserved Group Tour? If a group requires exclusive use of our luxury vehicle for a Private Reserved Group Tour, the minimum charge is $954 for 6 guests. All Private Reserved Group Tours must be made by phone – please call us for more information.
   

9. When and where do I get picked up for the Tour? Tour pick-up times vary between 10:00 and 10:30, depending on your exact location. Your Tour pick-up location and time will be shown on your Tour Confirmation that you’ll receive by email or fax and that will be reconfirmed by phone. Please note the Pick-Up Time on your confirmation – we cannot hold the Tour for late arrivals, and there is no refund if you arrive late and the vehicle has departed as scheduled.
   

10. Will I get a confirmation for the Tour? What if I cancel my Tour? You’ll receive a Tour Confirmation Form via email or fax once your reservation request has been processed. Join-In Tours are non-cancellable within 48 hours of your Tour. Private Reserved Tours require a 21 day notification. Please see our Terms and Conditions.
    

11. Can children or my pets go on the tour? State law a) requires all guests be 21 or older and have photo ID, and b) prohibits pets on the Tour van.
    

12. What should I wear or bring with me on the Tour? Dress comfortably – the style is all Malibu: relaxed and easy going. Sunglasses, sunscreen and a hat…and bring your camera!
